Welcome to the Ocean Springs Art Association web site
The art association calls the Mississippi Gulf Coast homes and supports the arts and artists in a variety of ways.
Members sell their artwork though the association's Co-operative gallery, the Arthouse and sponsor numerous workshops, classes and demonstrations through a partnership with the Mary C. O'keefe Cultural Center.
The Mary C. O’Keefe
Cultural Center of Arts and Education has just added a culinary
arts kitchen to its many offerings. Why is this especially
significant to the Ocean Springs Art Association membership?
Because we will be handing art in the kitchen.
A slew of OSAA members have been
honored as the kitchen’s first exhibitors: Mae Dillon, Gerrol
Be-nigno, Patt Odom, Norma Seward, Susie Ranager, Susan
Shepherd, Jasmine Henson, Mark Daynes and Jean Sparkes. The
artists’ works will be on display (and for sale) for two months.

Our premiere event, the Annual Fall Fine Arts Show, showcases member works throughout the month of November.
All adult
members, 18 years or older in good standing of the Ocean Springs
Art Association, including those who have moved away from the
coast, but have continued to pay membership dues, may enter.
Non member artists living in the following counties of Jackson,
Harrison, and Hancock may join the day of registration and enter
also.
The number of exhibits ranges about 300 fine art pieces, including paintings, pottery, glass, sculptures and mixed media. All artists are local artists, including artists that have maintained their membership after moving after Hurricane Katrina. Ocean Springs Art Association takes no commission on any piece of art, but administers this public service purely for the local gulf coast artists to showcase their works of art.
