Our
Mission
To
promote the creation and appreciation of the Arts throughout
the Gulf Coast Region, specifically Ocean Springs,
Mississippi. Conducting arts exhibitions, providing arts
services, coordinating arts advocacy, and
generally promoting appreciation and participation in the arts - all
are goals of the OSAA. |

A BRIEF HISTORY OF
THE OCEAN SPRINGS ART ASSOCIATION |
|
A small group met and formed the Ocean
Springs Art Association in the Fall of 1971 to promote
friendship and good fellowship among those persons engaged in
the visual arts.
Interest soon spread to the neighboring
communities. Membership in the association was opened to persons
having an in the accomplishment of the purposes of the
organization and has steadily grown to include almost 400
members.
The members of the association have
continuously contributed their time and their art, giving the
public an opportunity to view and acquire original works of art.

Monthly Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday
of the month at 7:00 p.m.
